Toronto Lands Corporation is thrilled to announce the appointment of Yvonne Choi as our new Director of Planning effective January 8, 2024! Having acted in the role since July 2023, Yvonne has a wealth of planning expertise which will undoubtedly help shape the future of our city.
Yvonne joined TLC in 2019 as the Manager of the Land Use Planning team, providing expertise on land use planning matters that impact TDSB assets and interests. She is a Registered Professional Planner in Ontario, a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners, and a certified Project Management Professional.
Prior to joining TLC, Yvonne worked in the private sector as a land use planner with a planning and development law firm. Yvonne brings public sector experience, having worked in different Ministries of the Ontario Public Sector and also with a District government in Ghana, West Africa.
