4340 Bloor Street West (Adjacent to Millwood Junior School)
In 2020, a zoning by-law amendment application was submitted for 4 and 13-storey residential buildings while retaining an existing, 15-storey apartment building on lands located on the south side of Millwood Junior School (222 Mill Road). TLC identified concerns with the proposal including shadow, wind, vehicular access, and construction/demolition impacts on the school through the planning process. These matters are further described in TLC’s letters submitted to the City in response to the application dated March 2021 and April 2022 (available in the Downloads section below).
The applicant has appealed the City’s failure to make a decision on their application to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT). As a result, TLC has secured party status to the OLT hearing to ensure the above-noted concerns are appropriately mitigated through the appeal process.
