Toronto District School Board at its meeting on June 16, 2023 adopted a resolution pursuant to Section 194(3) of the Education Act declaring that the above noted property is not required for the purposes of TDSB and referred to the Toronto Lands Corporation for sale.  If none of the public agencies defined by Ontario Regulation 444/98 purchase the property through the regulations circulation process, then Toronto Lands Corporation can offer the property to the current tenant, called ‘Anne & Max Tanenbaum Hebrew Academy “CHAT”’ who operate the entire site as a private school.  There is no longer a school at this location and the lease term for this tenant expires in 2029 with a right to renew until 2034.

The property is located at 200 Wilmington Avenue in Ward 5 and is approximately 4.9 acres in area.
