Infrastructure

Public Agencies, City of Toronto, Toronto Transit Commission, Metrolinx, require the temporary use or permanent property interests of TDSB real estate in order to complete large infrastructure project throughout the City. Infrastructure projects can include new bus rapid transit routes, subways, rail corridors, sewers, water mains or road widenings.  Project activity requires:

• Safeguarding TDSB schools and students through the oversight of City wide infrastructure projects
• Working collaboratively and partnering with all levels of government on projects to preserve the value and utility of TDSB properties
• Applying vigorous due diligence in the research, planning and execution of projects that impact TDSB.
• Provide educational opportunities for local students during and after the construction of the infrastructure to enhance student learning.
